| RULES ARE NOT LAWS
There's a difference between breaking the law and breaking server rules. Laws like "don't murder people" and "don't smoke crack" are put in place by the government, and breaking them will lead to appropriate in game punishments. If someone is breaking a law, admins will NOT interfere. If you want to stop them, call the police or gather evidence and give it to the police on the forums.
Rules like "no metagaming" and "no chickenrunning" are put in place by the admin team, and if you break the rules really bad stuff will happen!
Server Rules
1.) NO HACKS OR MODS OF ANY KIND
2.) NO EXPLOITS OF ANY KIND.
2.1) NO LOGGING TO AVOID DEATH/ARREST/TIED/TAZER
If you're being chased, attacked, arrested, spoken to by an admin, or interacted with in any way DO NOT DISCONNECT FROM THE SERVER. Even if nobody is around, you should not reconnect to avoid death or "teleport" to meet up with people.
2.2.) NO BLADEKILLING / PLANEBOMBING / HELIBOMBING / CARBOMBING / CARPARKING
Do not use these or any other forms of vehicular instakill.
2.3) NO CHICKENRUNNING / LAG EXPLOITING / INTERIOR EXPLOITING / ANIMATION EXPLOITING
Do not move in circles, zig zag, or otherwise abuse SA:MP's shoddy netcode to avoid being shot. Do not use animations for anything other than RP.
3.) NO ACCOUNT EXPLOITS
Farming accounts, sharing accounts, dual boxing, metagaming assets to gain an advantage, or making accounts to avoid punishments will get you banned.
4.) NO OOC SCAMMING
Scams MUST be in-character. If you do things including pretending to be an admin, faking script messages, or lying about server mechanics, you may be severely punished.
5.) NO DEATHMATCHING
Don't kill anyone without a good reason. If you haven't given your victim a chance to respond to you verbally, you're breaking this rule. Demanding large sums of money is NOT a good reason. Roleplaying a psychopath/criminal is NOT a good reason. If someone is confused and needs to ask you OOC why they were attacked, you're probably doing something wrong.
6.) DO NOT "KILL ON SIGHT"
Do not kill the same player repeatedly for the same reason.
7.) NO METAGAMING / POWERGAMING
Do not switch characters to gain an advantage, or use knowledge or motives from one character for another. Do not pretend you have superhuman abilities like the ability to break out of handcuffs.
8.) NO SERVER ADVERTISING
We don't care if you play on other servers, but DO NOT talk about other servers, link to other servers, post a mysterious IP address, or advertise in any way.
9.) NO OUT OF CHARACTER RACISM/HOMOPHOBIA
Do not use racial slurs, hateful stereotypes, or any other offensive bigoted material out of character. In character it's usually fine.
10.) NO SPAMMING
Do not spam chat for any reason. If you use binds, make sure you do not flood the server with too many commands at once, either deliberately or by accident. It can also happen if your keys stick. To be sure you are safe from this read this thread.
11.) /AD, /O, AND /N
/ad is for legal goods and services, unless the ad is masked like "buying prosthetic arms". Ad is not global chat, don't say "Jim is a jerk" or "Fred call me." Even if /o is disabled, these rules apply. Bad ads may result in a fine.
/o is global chat. It is not for trading, whining to admins, or anything that should remain in character. Offenses may get you muted, fined, or worse.
/n is for game mode questions and answers. It is not for trading, whining to admins, or chatting. Offenses may get you muted, fined, or worse.
12.) SPEAK ENGLISH/TAGALOG IN CHARACTER
This is an English/Tagalog server and we expect all players to speak English/Tagalog. If you cannot speak English/Tagalog please find another server. Please keep IC and OOC separate and avoid internet like "lol wtf omg" OOC unless you are roleplaying a nerd. Do not make smiley faces in character. If you would like to speak in another language, please do so out of character or privately such as in /w or /t.
13.) OBEY ADMINS AT ALL TIMES, REGARDLESS OF ANY LISTED RULES
Admins ALWAYS have the final word, despite what any rules may say.
14.) DON'T BE AN ACTUAL JERK
If you're being a jerk, griefing, etc, and not just roleplaying a jerk, you may be punished at admin discretion.
14.1) BE NICE TO NEWBIES
Don't take advantage of newbies. They don't know the server or server mechanics and you do. Please try to be nice to newbies so they stick around. | |
